Dhampirs, the half-vampire race

“The childe who's born from life and death alike,
He bears the mark of grave within his soul.
His kiss of blood the sweetest death, his gift
The curse he feels within, unquenched thirst.”

Dhampirs are the fruit of the union between a human and a vampire, and they offer you a new, interesting option to build your character. For who knows evil better than those who were tainted by evil itself even before they were born?

The dhampir race is complete with two subraces: the loveborn, the son of a living human and an undead abomination, and the tainted one, a poor soul infected with vampirism while still a fetus.

Dark fantasy never was so (un)lively!

Last but not least, if you have any suggestion, please write a review and comment. I'm more than eager to update my works to make them more suitable.

Thanks for your review Josh, and yup, I understand that you find my skills lacking as an editor of myself (are you perhaps offering yourself as an editor?), but as I said I see my works in the DM's guild as a chance to improve my skills in every field.
And I have jet to realize what's the problem if my works are sold by the DM's Guild and not as OGL, using other platforms.
Anyway, as I said, thanks for the review: i put great effort in balancing my creations and offering them with good formatting and artwork.

David, Danilo, thanks!
Right, the sunlight vulnerability is quite a hindrance, but till official rules come out to remove it for drows and duergars it seems only fit to maintain it.

Thanks for your review Jason, I'll correct the typo asap.
As regards the damage dice, there is a precise design choice behind the d4: with the damage caped at 4d4 I can use a pre-existing progression (the dragonborn's breath weapon) and have a final damage output of 10, as with the XXX of the proper vampire in the Monster Manual. ;)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
