This book explores a variant rule using alternate spell selections inspired by Magic the Gathering 5 color magic system of White Blue Black Red Green instead of the 8 schools of magic. The spells in the Player's Handbook are sorted between the five colors.

Knights and Tricksters pick one color and learn spells devoted to that one color instead of two schools of magic.

This PDF provides the simple mechanics of color mana instead of schools of magic, provides all the spells in the Player's Handbook available to these class archetypes and provides example spell selections for creating Eldritch Knights and Arcane Tricksters very different from the base options in the Player's Handbook without changing any mechanics of the class archetypes.
