Thanks - now over 500 downloads! Welcome to Nebelun’s Pandect of Possibilities, a 30-page handbook of variant rules options to add compatible depth for the fifth edition of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS®. Within this tinkerer's tome, core D&D® game mechanics are tuned and tweaked, reconfigured and reimagined, buffed and built on, but with an eye to keeping the distinctive feel (and compatibility) of fifth edition.

Degree of Success • Ability Checks • Saving Throws • Advantage & Disadvantage • Combat • Defense & Tactics • Damage & Healing • Spellcasting • Overexertion • Equipment & Weapons • Feats • Character Creation

Although everything in this ruleset is designed to play well together, each option also stands alone and you can simply take the bits that suit your group's taste and style: a pick-and-mix of variant rules for the discerning homebrewer, dice goblin, or curious experimentalist.

Summer 2021 Update: 300 downloads! Many thanks for your interest and support since the first release at the beginning of the year. With this final update, to Version 5.0, we now close the Nebelun’s Pandect saga. This project was very much a by-product of the pandemic, written as a welcome relief around the long hours of the tarrasque-esque all-consuming side-quest, and its microscopic BBEG, that 2020 decided to throw at us. It’s been a labour of love and is not a commercial endeavour.

Finally, the rules here have been extensively playtested in various iterations, but they are wide in scope and have transformative mechanics, so no amount of small group testing will find all the potential gaps.
