I found a lot of this very helpful. One thing I will say, though:

You talk about how you reduced Tiamat's strength. I would not recommend this. I would only reduce Tiamat as much as the players manage by disrupting the ritual. If they don't accomplish enough, she comes through at full strength. She is a god, and should feel like one.

My plan is this:
Tiamat will come through as powerful as she can with the detriments applied. The players will almost certainly die. When they do, I will then flash forward in time about a year, when they'll be resurrected by a group of their allies from the Council of Waterdeep in a world in which chromatic dragons now reign supreme.
The remaining council members will have found an ally, a sage from Chult who has unearthed rumors of a powerful artifact once wielded by the champion of Bahamut, a weapon that acted as a last resort against Tiamat. The sage believes that the tomb lies somewhere within the Mistcliff Mountains in Chult.

Is this guide compatible with the relaunch of the Tyranny of Dragons by WotC?

https://dnd.wizards.com/products/tabletop-games/rpg-products/tyranny-dragons

I only ask because I was told they reworked adventure balance and included errata and other stuff.

Sorry the author hasn't responded.

WoTC changed very little in the end regarding the adventure. Fized a few typos and simplified a few encounters bbut by and large its the same.

"Where the eggs came from is never answered. There is a black dragon in the Mere of Dead Men named Voaraghamanthar who is discussed in episode 6." ...being spied on by dragon mask lady with the castle telescope. They obviously stole the eggs from him or they wouldn't need to spy on him.

I would also point out the green dragon is liberating the elves from the tyranny of racist royalty.

The title of the setting is a red herring, it's actually Tyranny On Dragons, it's the lords of Waterdeep who are the tyrants. BTW, spoiler alert.

Nice work, this will definitely be of help in running these adventures.

Please note that there are typos on page 6, paragraph 5. Both sentences here have errors.

To expand on that, there is also a typo in the next paragraph. (payers instead of players).

Other then that this is a very helpful guide to make the running of this adventure both easier and more fun.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
