Soulvessel Class

There are some individuals in the multiverse with a natural affinity to the Ethereal Plane. An affinity, which draws the attention of all manner of spirits and souls. These individuals have the power to share their body and hold the spirit of another entity within them, harnessing the energies of the ethereal as well as learning the knowledge and experience of the spirit within them. These individuals, are known as "Soulvessels".

Soulvessels combine martial techniques with the magical prowess granted to them by their spirit and their connection to the weave of the ethereal; This allows them to release necrotic energy with their strikes to harm their enemies, or summon spectral armaments in the heat of battle.

The kind of spirit that you bond with and elements of its unique ethereal energies, as well as its own knowledge, often change the abilities that the vessel holds. Bond with a Spirit of a Cursed One, a spirit of a malevolent entity or that of a cursed soul, to imbue your ethereal energy with malicious power, turning it vile and parasitic. Or you could have bonded with a Spirit of Nature, instead learning how to track and hunt with the effectiveness and ferociousness of a wild beast, as your natural spirit teaches you. Perhaps you've bonded with a Spirit of a Master Swordsman, rather, and learned from him the skills and experiences of a veteran adventurer, as well as how to better control the ethereal energies that flow through you. Alas, you could have also bonded with the Spirits of the Elements, a quartet of elemental spirits that took to forming a truce between them to share your body, and teach you how to use the raw energies that form the material plane.

This bond between you and your spirit, is what makes you a Soulvessel.

Changelog:

Version 1.1: Spirit of a Cursed One - Vile Constitution: Changed the temporary hit points given after each Short or Long Rest to the character's soulvessel level x 3 instead of the soulvessel level + 1d10.

The Archer reminds me of Talion from Shadow of Mordor & Shadow of War.

Indeed! Tallion was a great inspiration for this class, as well as The Prince from the Prince of Persia series, the Abyss Watchers from Dark Souls III and the Revenant class from Guild Wars 2!

so i've read over the pdf and this looks solid and would be dope as XXX to play there are like 1 or 2 things that i didn't particularly find favorable but that's probably because i have my own vision for a class like this but i'm open to hear your viewpoints on these if you don't mind. still can't wait to be able to test out this class though

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
