Twitch Overlay - Mountain Fortress

Preview of the overlay

Streaming home games is becoming increasingly popular, especially when groups are already playing online using virtual tabletops. Recording sessions can help both the players and the DM recall details between games, share their games with friends, and even has the potential to provide a little side income just for playing the game you love.

Organize the chaos of VTT interfaces with an overlay. Meant for use with streaming software (such as XSplit), this pack comes with a few variants for the needs of your group.

Includes versions with:

  • 4, 5 and 6 Character Sheet spaces
  • 6 open frames for webcam use
  • solid base/no character frames
  • All variants have space in the on the bottom bar for twitter handles & gamer tags; large open panels for game chat, maps and combat trackers

Any chance you can post the .psd files for purchase? I'm running loads of one shots, and we range from 2-7 players. I'd love to be able to edit the overlay without needing to request variations. Thanks for considering!

I don't have as much time to make variants anymore (life has gotten busy since I released these!), but if you've got a request that's simple enough I will try to get around to it as soon as I can.

I have a request for a variant. 6 player windows, 1 large battle map and 1 DM window. I bought this one and your wood one would like this setup for both if possible.
PS. These look great!

If your still doing requests for variants I would like to make a request if possible ....At the bottom 5 webcam screens evenly spaced out across the bottom (1 for dm and 4 players) , at the top 1 16:9 battle map screen and 1 that just takes up the rest of the top for use with a battle tracker. So basically take 1 webcam spot out of the bottom and evenly space out the remaining 5, then take out the chat and make the battle map 16:9 then leave rest of the space for combat tracker

These layouts are wonderful! Thank you for making them. I wonder, wold it be possible to make this same above style/layout for your Wood option?

Removing the DM screen name from the top of the wood panels layouts, you mean? I can certainly do that. It might be a bit - I'm working around my day job and other responsibilities during quarantine - but I can try to post here when I get that finished.

Hi Dennon,
I've just updated the Wood Panels overlay with a variant that removes the DM panel and chat panel to increase the size of the battlemap, and includes spaces for 5 webcams.

Sure thing! It might take me a bit to get to it, but I am happy to take requests for variant versions.

These are really nice! We are a non-profit charity and have someone that creates ours, but I like the layout you created. Would like to discuss using them in conjunction with ours if possible.

Thank you so much! I am terribly sorry for the late response - I thought I was supposed to be getting notifications when someone comments. If you'd still like to chat, you can reach me at chilbigart@gmail.com.

Hi Courtney,

Have you got any experience with Roll20 overlays?
I am a local Twitch streamer, dedicated to live RPG shows and would rather work and promote local talent on my channel.

Hi Matthew/Karsh! :)
I don't have experience specifically with Roll20. These overlays were made with Fantasy Grounds in mind (as that's what my group plays with) but I imagine the principle is much the same. Is there something specific that you're looking for?

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
