Saurial Player Race (5e)

Suggested Price $0.50

Saurials are an uncommon race of dinosaur-like humanoids that can be found in the Lost Vale on Toril. Originally from a distant world, the saurials were brought as slaves to Toril by the evil god Moander to further his goals. Now that Moander has long since been defeated, the saurials are trapped on Toril but free to rebuild their society and create a new home for themselves. The last few years the inhabitants of the Lost Vale have started to leave their home to explore and adventure, inspired by the successes of the legendary saurial paladin known as Dragonbait.

This PDF contains everything you need to play a saurial as a player race in the 5th edition of the Dungeons & Dragons.

Choose to play a Saurial if you want…

To play an exotic and perhaps unknown race that still has a strong connection to the lore of Forgotten Realms.

To make sure that no race is ever again subjugated by an evil god.

To experience the world of Toril through the eyes of a stranger to the world.

To follow in the steps of Dragonbait.

To be a member of a race that favours the Bard, Paladin, Rogue, or Wizard classes.

Recently revised and updated.

Looking for more player races? Why not check out my Swanmay player race, or Mongrelfolk player race as well.

Reviews, Feedback and playtesting of the saurial would be greatly appreciated as It has only seen limited playtesting so far by me. Your name will be added to the playtesting credits if you submit your experiences with the race and your name to me.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
