While I like to think it IS that good, I've sent an email to DTRPG/DMsGuild about the pricing difference. It's being set automatically.

The black and white print costs are currently controlled by obs on this title. I've reached out to them to see why this is set to such a high value. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I have a question about Eldenser’s blade form. The Risen and Unleashed blades both reference “The Sleeping Blade.” Those two times are the only two mentions of The Sleeping Blade. After becoming this “sleeping blade,” it goes back to its “normal sword form.” What’s the sleeping blade, and what is the normal form? Is the sleeping blade the Slumbering Blade form? If so, what is the normal form, the form it was before?

Hey, i am the designer of that particular item.

Eldenser the sleeping blade was the name of the item in its first draft. Replace all reference of the sleeping blade with the slumbering blade.

The normal form is whatever form it had when the transformation was activated. So if it is in the risen blade form and the transformation is activated, it spends 10 days in the slumbering blade form before returning to the risen blade form.

So sorry for the confusion.

What are the chances of a future update adding Sardior to the book?

So we were like, 90% done when we realized Sardior was left out (hence the disclaimer at the start). But honestly, there was no getting around it. He *needed* to be statted up.

So we released him as a freebie to say thank you to everyone. https://vorpaldicepress.com/blog/Sardior-the-Ruby-Dragon/

The moment the good folks at Grim Press are finished with it! (We decided to go with Grim for our FG conversion due to their experience and customer trust). When it comes out, I'll leave a reply to you here to make sure you check it out!

Do you think the hardcopy will be available in time for Christmas and is there a way I can get notified when it is available? This would be a fantastic Christmas present for my son!!

As of right now, we're working as fast as we can. The print files have been sent to Lightning (the printer) and as soon as they clear us for proofs, we'll order them. Then it's usually a few days for the proof to arrive and I can turn on the print sales again.

Follow @fallenwyvern on twitter and I'll post the moment it's available! We all thank you for your patience (we can't wait for the print to be available again either!)

Thank you for all the work it took to update these files to D&D 5e. I first
learned about these dragons about 2 years ago as dragon mag. articles. Unfortunately
they were originally described in 3e or 3.5e terms, some of which I found difficult
to translate to 5e but did my best as I wanted to use a couple of them in my homebrew.
So along with The Dragonomicon (updated for 5e) and Fizbans my need for dragon
data and lore is sated for the time being. Thank you Mr. Holmes and team this product
is quite impressive. Bravo!

Yes! We ran into an issue with licensing art (we licensed art from Adobe that turned out to be copyright infringing) and so we worked with the original artist to use their art in our book.

That requires us to take it down for a short period of time while the hardback gets re-approved and it'll be back up!

Pretty nice book! I quite enjoy the dragon material. :)

Its a bit of a shame though that a couple of Realms super famous and super strong dragons do not appear in the book.

- Inferno (kinda the Larloch of chromatic dragons with unmatched mastery of fire and unbeatable even by the strongest adventurers)
- Tchazzar (kinda the Elminster version for chromatic dragons as Tiamat's strongest champion)
- Larendrammagar Nexus (best metallic dragon spellcaster)
- Iryklathragra (perhaps most famous blue dragon)
- Protanther (former ruler of gold dragons)
- Alasklerbanbastos (one of the most dangerous dracoliches).

Perhaps this book will get an update on them some day or maybe they will appear in a Wyrms of the Reams Mythic Encounters Vol. 2? Would be really nice if it happend.

Never enough dragons. :)

I love the book. One issue I've noticed is it's not clear sometimes what type of dragon the entry is for. Maybe have a sub-heading somewhere that just says "Ancient Gold Dragon" or whatever kind it is. Also, on page 129 first paragraph there are two errant question marks and possibly missing words.

Hi Brian

Just wanted to let you know that both of these issues are fixed in the new PDF.

Each dragon has it's color type listed in the ToC as well as in the statblock as a metadata tag beside it's creature type [for example: Gargantuan dragon (gold)]

Uh hey, Saryndalaghlothtor's art on page 112 was traced from Gustavo Cabral. There looks to be no question about it. It seems to be copied almost exactly, they just added some texture over it. I don't see his credit anywhere in the book. Can I get an explanation for this?

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
