Gromman are broken. it's a shame, because i love the idea of them. Who doesn't want a gorilla right alongside them? and what's not to love about the idea of a Gorilla slinging spells from the back row! iconic and great. now, for the bad news:

+6, even with two -2s is too much. that means even if you dumped STR entirely (using your 8 on your standard array) you'd still have a 14 STR at level 1. if you used your 2nd highest (14) youd be at 20 at level 1. The +2 dex /and/ con on top of that is way too powerful.
Large Size players become problematic very fast, and a -1 to AC feels like a hold-over from 3.5 and, while not gamebreaking, is also not perhaps the best way to go forward. Reach is very dangerous to give players. it makes every melee weapon have the reach property, and means that a reach weapon has a 15ft range, meaning you're making melee strikes from across the room. 40ft speed is too fast for a player, but i like the climbing speed = to movement. I would change it to 35 and say "climb...See more

I love the idea of these races. I have some thoughts, though, about how to make them more balanced, as well as some language concerns.

Forgeborn have wonderful flavor! the problem is that they are straight up better than any other dwarven subrace, and also better than Variant Humans. I would suggest removing the toughness, or make it simply a +2 at first level and that's it. Tools and weapons aren't gamebreaking and are flavorful. Languages is on there twice and it appears upon inspection that the feat selecting business comes from Variant Human as written and should be edited out.
Armored Body should be changed to be Either +1 to AC while not wearing armor, and then mention that you can bond an armor to you preventing you from being able to doff it in exchange for it not counting toward your carry weight or something or just a flat +1AC which is actually a pretty sweet boon, as it would stack with everything else AC related.
the pricing thing is very flavorful but unnecessarily complicated....See more

Yeah I agree. Absolutely love the Kender info and bonuses. Just wish there was a description of Kender Pockets explaining when this roll would come up and how often. Otherwise players could just roll forever. Also would like to have stuff like Linux removed from the list as it leaves the DM to have to unnecessarily explain something cleverly that shouldn't belong in a fantasy world anyway.

Finally, would like more details on the Hoopak Staff. My guess would be that it functions like a normal staff except it has the Finesse quality in Kender Hands only. Does 1d6 melee damage and 1d6 range damage due to having extra projectile speed from the design. And can be twirled to make a haunting "whooshing" sound to Intimidate nearby enemies (as an Action), provided the Kender is hidden from sight.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
