Feyblood, the half-fairy race

NOTE: this contribution is now obsolete, as a new, better version of it has been included in my Multiversatility – Player’s Options Pack.

Half-fairies and changelings are prominent characters in many mythologies and legends, all tales and stories that strongly influenced the worlds of D&D.

The feyblood race aims to make such characters playable in 5th edition.

In this work you will find the rules to play a wide variety of half-fairies characters, as well as a whole set of tables to choose or determine their features, ranging from utter beauty to hideous deformity, all correlated by beautiful artwork (not of mine, sadly: I suck at drawing).

Will your feyblood character be a seductive warlock or a little flying druid? Or perhaps you will play a strong and beastly ranger?
The choice is yours to make...

PS: if you have any suggestion, please write a review and comment. I'm more than eager to update my works to make them more suitable.

It says in the feyblood description that usually the feyblood has the the non-fey parent as an elf or a human, but that that isn't always the case. Could a feyblood be half teifling?

Potentially? Yes.

Written like a template, leaving open plenty of customization options. Well written and well researched. Just one major problem, the last page and a half is white lettering on black background and will eat up an entire cartridge of ink if you have to print it.

Thanks for the review and the purchase, anyway.
The race, however, is similar to elves for the simple reason that elves are "humanoid fairies" and I used them as a reference in creating a new humanoid fairy race.

The variants are in a sidebar as are those of the tiefling in SCAG for the simple reason that they are often too wide and radical to be treated as separate subraces: such treatment wuold have required many more variants for all the possibile mixing of traits and characteristics. With the approach of the tiefling, however, I was able to insert all the variants in a single column that, should you print the PDF, will be facing the main traits.
Last but not least, the final tables suggest many possible feybloods that are not so elvish.

PS: and, anyway, the price is not one dollar.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
