Gunslinger (player class)

Overview

The Gunslinger is a long range combatant, with a focus on accuracy and negative effects for thier targets.

Gunslingers are grouped together by one thing: their love of hot iron and flying lead. Beyond this, they are as wild and varied as the lands they roam.

The use of firearms lets a gunslinger provide a steady flow of damage while staying off the front lines and mostly out of harms way. Thier ability to aim lets them hit more consistantly than thier arrow-slinging counterparts, if not dealing as much damage per hit. The trouble that their tricks shots can cause to the enemy also lets them fill a crowd controling role.

Sub-Classes

The Gunslinger can join one of the many Cliques that define a particular style of fighting.

The Gun Kata Master knows that gun play is more than a means to an end. It is an art form to be performed flawlessly, a dance under a hail of bullets, a symphony of gunpowder and lead.

"Gun Kata Master" looks to show off their abilities by mastering more trick shots and getting as many shots off at a time as they can.

The Sharpshooter believes in accuracy above all else. What’s the point of shooting at someone if you’re just going to miss?

"Sharpshooter" grants even more bonuses for aiming along with passive bonuses to attack rolls. 

The Gun Mage can be a true force to be reckoned with, augmenting their weapon shots with magic for devastating hits.

"Gun Mage" incorperates spells into thier rotation of bullet fire, much like an Elderitch Knight. They also learn unique trick shots that would be impossible without a little magic.
