Hansel vs. Gretel: Feywild Civil War

ADD TO WISHLIST >
Suggested Price $0.50

This nuts (crazy and gastronimically-disputed) domain of delight not far away from Prismeer is but a semblance of its former glory: after defeating the witch who tried to devour them, Hansel and Gretel ruled for long wisely (or so they said)... Until strife appeared, sown by a foreign pirate, throwing the siblings into a bitter dispute and the domain in disarray! Now three realms carved from within try to dominate and show which cake or recipe is better. Backstabbing, intrigue, pranks, absurd, and politically-mysterious events befall! The history, current state, features of the domain are (reliantly, I think) narrated here, along with a trip you will be sent in by means of which you will experience in an adventure what all of this nonsense is about. What will you find here? This crazy domain of delight, an adventure, maps and Images! A minor magic item, and a monster as well, as if that were not enough. More you want? How ambitious... like the lands now rulers, I must say. Your are this apt to govern here... Will you.. survive? Bwa ha ha ha!... Sorry, couldn't contain meself

I'm confused with what this is supposed to be. It feels like a ton of material for the domain of delight they "propose" without an actual adventure.

It looks like a place holder for an as yet incomplete work. However this can not be DDAL legal in its current state given all the deviations from "D&D® ADVENTURERS LEAGUE DUNGEONCRAFT DESIGN GUIDE: THE WILD BEYOND THE WITCHLIGHT v 1.2"

Thank you for your comment. It actually includes both elements -the adventure takes up most of the document, in fact, and serves to flesh out and show some dynamics of the domain. The adventure (part III) is entitled ‘the poisoned present’. Its free/pay what you want, and I like free/loose adventure outlines myself. I ran the adventure and everyone told me they had lots of fun

There are two versions. The one saying 1 October does follow format, magic item, level, and the other guidelines. The prior one, published before, does not. And it is not a placeholder, rather it has both domain and adventure in ways that represent styles I like (I don’t like too detailed adventures to facilitate improvisation, preparation, etc.). But of course tastes vary. It is free/pwyw as a result

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
