Do you want to introduce D&D for the very first time to a group of friends? Are you an unexperienced Dungeon Master? This product is thought for you: guide your friends in ascending the tower of a sadistic mage while facing deadly challenges.

The Mage's Tower is a one-shot adventure for first-level characters. It contains encounters, traps and puzzles.

The adventure is designed for unexperienced adventurers and it gives tips about the main rules of D&D 5th edition. A Dungeon Master with almost no knowledge about the main manuals can use it.

Inside you can find 4 prefilled character-sheets allowing you to start the game just after downloading. There is also an ink-friendly version.

The Mage's Tower is now am Electrum best seller, I celebrate adding maps and new appendixes: "Managing a large party" and "Spellcasting". In the appendixes you can find a familiar for the mage and a new original spell.

Thank you for your support and download.

Recently, I soloed my way through The Mage's Tower. It is a 5E adventure available for free/pay what you want at Dungeon Masters Guild. This nine page adventure is for first level characters and it contains three stat blocks and two puzzles. It is [...]

This adventure is a great way to get the party started! It's easy to DM and it's fun for the PCs. We had a party of 4 lvl 1 & 1 lvl 2 party members and we went through it very easily. We also have several years playing D&D games. However, [...]

[Updated Review] The adventure presents some fun and unique ideas for the players to explore, and works very well for a DM with little experience running D&D adventurers. The adventure itself has some clever beats to it and offers good advi [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
