The Grinning Frog is delighted to present for the inspiration of all Dungeon Masters out there a map page from the archives of legendary Rogue and Adventurer Jimmy the Quick.

A unique to provide some quick inspiration for the hard-pressed Dungeon Master – need a map for tonight’s dungeon? You’ve got it! Would it help to have that map gridded out and the rooms numbered? You got it! How about some story elements and even creatures and maybe some traps listed? You got it! And to cap it off how about a fun story arch that you can use or ignore as you wish? Consider it done my friend!

Following the adventures of a rogue named Jimmy the Quick you are provided with a dungeon layout annotated with creatures, traps, other noteworthy features as well as story elements. Designed to inspire and entertain – and all on a Pay What You Want basis.

** In this map, Jimmy and the aging wizard Bertiz go deep underground looking for a room of power … **

Whilst this is a series of maps loosely connected via a story arch each map can be used independently.

What you see is what you get ... this is a one page map in 300dpi which outlines a dungeon with numbered rooms. Entry and exit points are marked and certain rooms have additional commentary from Jimmy. The other rooms are left unlabelled for you to imaginatively fill.

Whether it's Jimmy's comments that spark some gaming ideas, or the layout itself, we at The Grinning Frog hope you gain some inspiration from it and create some great adventures for your players.

Note - this is not a battle map - this is the kind of map you see in a published adventure. You can't print this and put figures on it. You can however print it just fine for reference on a single sheet of paper! (Print size is 6.8 by 3.8 inches or 17 x 10 cm)

Looks lovely on a 9.7 or larger tablet ...

Hey folks - yes you can download this for free but if you can spare 10, 20 or 30 cents I'd really appreciate it. I love making these maps and hopefully providing some inspiration and enjoyment to you all. If you enjoy them then please consider honouring my work with a fair cash trade – a quick review or star rating would be equally appreciated!

And a big thank you to everyone who has paid for the maps – especially to those readers who have bought every map we have produced (you know who you are) - much appreciated.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
