Goblin Warbands

Suggested Price $1.00

Few foes are as iconic a threat to the adventurer as the goblin, yet the monster manual contains but a measly two entries. In an attempt to rectify this blatant affront to goblinkind, presented herein are thirteen additional goblin threats to menace your party of adventurers. Inside, rather than unusual and obscure goblin builds, are what more formidable goblin foes are more likely to actually look like. There are no goblin monks or paladins here, but you will find several variants of goblin beastmasters, archers, sneaks, shaman, sorcerers, and brutes capable of presenting a challenge to a wide variety of parties.

Any chance you could adapt this to FG (Fantasy Grounds)?

Rob Twohy can do the conversion for you if you're interested, he is fair about it and has converted roughly over 100 DMs Guild products for other authors.

This was really fun to use and it was exactly what I needed for an encounter. I love the fact you managed to have goblins that can fill any roll and can throw curveballs at the players.

Nice work and I like the variety. If you do more humanoids I'll be sure to get them. How about orcs, lizardmen or kobolds? If you're feeling creative, I'm sure not all sprites or pixies are the same, either (and I miss the brownies from 2e).

There were a few places where I wasn't sure why the weapon damage was an extra point higher, for example the wolfrider's scimitar or the ratlord's whip. Did I miss a detail?

Excellent catch on both the ratlord and the wolfrider, I must have missed it on my last proofread. I'll throw an update out shortly. The warboss' extra damage however is intentional, representing a possible bonus from a Dueling Fighting Style. (Fighter class bonus)

A fey update could be interesting, I like it. Currently working a zombie pack.

Very creative. Each one is unique, but each is distinctly goblin. Thoughtful, well-designed, and easy to read. If you've ever thought goblins are too common and predictable, think again.

Good stats coupled with some creative ideas on just now nasty goblins can be. The layout is excellent and easy to read. Excellent work all around.

I'm looking forward to more from Christopher Dornan.

Those goblins are amazing. I would have never thought of mechanics to make those amazing goblins, and they keep the nature of still being goblins. 5/5 for the goblins made. Thank you Christopher Dornan.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
