After having made a purchase and finished a glance through the PDF, I am pleased with my purchase and can recommend it to other new DMs such as myself. The only thing for me is that the PDF has a nice background to it - is there a print-friendly version of the PDF available? One without the background to save on ink?

Just added a no background version of the PDF. Redownload and let me know if it works for you.

Thank you so much for your prompt response. I have successfully printed the no background version without issue and am pleased with this document which I can see is going to be most helpful and supportive in my first run as a DM. Thank you, Lucas.

Thank you for this, it's been incredibly helpful!
I just wanted to point out a typo/mistake in the location summary for Butterskull Ranch; it says the 100gp reward is from Tibor Westin instead of Harbin.

Tibor Westin is actually a doppleganger impersonating Harbin, so its really not a typo ;)

Thanks for the kind words and pointing out the mistake, I will correct it.

Oh, your pdf is really nice, thanks for doing it! I liked your char tie in ideas, they are a nice font of inspiration!
But if I may, there are somethings that I noticed, *spoilers ahead*:
-In the dragon burrow quest you refer as Lady Tanamare as a npc on the quest, but she isn't (the way you put her in the list implies (at least to me) that she is alive there. What is there that would be nice be mentioned since it can be a reward is her undead horse. Also, how come the dragon slayer sword and all the others magic itens aren't mentioned as a reward?!
-In the Tower of Storms you dont mention that the itens on the ships are magical and valuable, and that you can get the charm of the storm (quite powerful) as a kind of event/reward.
-In Umbrage hill you suggestion is just to fight the manticore and that is ultra deadly even at 3 lvl with few members. in the adventure it implies that you should negotiate with it.
- In the Shire of Savras, you say that there is no reward other that the...See more

I was inconsisitent in how I provided reward information. To address, I added an explanation of the bullet and checked all the areas for consistency. I attempt to note each significant reward as well as the quest award from Harbin Wester for each location. I also added a sentence to explain that Tanamare is dead, but still an important person to remember for the quest. For the fight against the manticore, I was trying to convey that the DM should put the characters in an advantageous position as it is a dangerous fight. I added additional language to make that clearer.

I am having the same issue with this; I don't see the file in my library (only the heading "DM's Guide to Dragon of Icespire Peak", which links back to this page).

I uploaded the file again and was able to download it as a user (I was able to yesterday as well). If you still can't see it let me know, and I will contact help at DRPG.

The PDF still has a proofreader's comments left in, which shrinks the rest of the page and makes it harder to read when printed. Could we get an updated PDF with the comments removed?

Should be corrected now. I uploaded the wrong PDF initially. I removed the old file and replaced with the corrected one.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
