Greetings!

This is an easy to run adventure made for around 7th level characters! The party will be hired to hunt a Hydra that has ravaged a nearby town, though along the way they will encounter more then what they signed up for!

I designed it to fit in easily in a pre existing adventure and be simple for the DM, you can read it as you go if you'd really like(Though taking the time to read it beforehand will likely be wise)!

This encounter can be lethal and is designed and tested for a well put together group!

Have fun, and if you like it, be sure to rate and comment please! If people like my adventures, I can keep taking the time to put some of them in PDF and upload them here for free(Though any contrabutions are more then welcome from those of us with financial means to do so, if you like the adventure!)

Happy hunting,

Hi Serephiel,

Saw this on the newsletter and I'm interested in trying it as well as your Eldark Crypt adventure. I see that they are both for levels 7 - 10 but I was wondering if either of the adventures is less deadly than the other? The party I DM for isn't exactly optimised but they do have a lot of money and items that they could use. Also, do the two adventures have completely seperate stories or are they related?

Thanks

Hello!

They are entirely independent and can be run in either order, this one is less deadly then Eldark Crypt, though the first encounter in this one is pretty intense. I would suggest doing this one first and dropping one(or maybe even two) of the monsters in the first fight here if you think it is appropriate to fit your groups power level(And, if need be, tell your party that they think it's safe to take short rests between fights can help with some groups who don't think of such things)!

Thanks for the reply, I think I will drop a cyclops and maybe a bulette as well.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
