Thank you so much for all your hard work! I've been Running "Let it Be', "Against the Orcs" and now "A Map of the Heart" for my players. They are on the second level of the tomb and realizing *spoilers* that the ruby is more than just a ruby!
I set the world in such a way that Orcs, goblins, and etc. are actually player characters and humans are the bad guys. So far they have been uniting the clans and stopping a warlord from taking over (they were from a rival orc clan). It's been hilarious, interesting and wonderful. So glad I have your work as resources.

Any chance you could add a printer friendly version? The textured paper looks great on the PDF but it's going to be hell on my ink cartridge as I prefer to run the game from paper than a laptop.

No problem. I replaced the file with a printer friendly version without the textured background. Enjoy!

Some things to consider.
Page 11
"If the PCs are working for Allispan, he can inform them of this fact and tell them that his agents are already covering both of those locations, but that he does not believe the staff is being held there, as it would be impossible for Veritas to smuggle it out under such observation (including detect magic spells)."
"Veritas" should be replaced with "Commus"

"The footlocker here is footlocker is unlocked and holds a few personal effects (flint and steel, whetstones, etc.) as well as a disguise kit."

The whole secret warehouse map is a mess to work out in descriptions, please, in the future when you describe the room mark the letter of the room you used for it on the map. This is all made even more confusing by the fact that you list "Sleeping Quarters" three times with no denotation that they are all different rooms.

Thank you for your comments. I will look into the errors regarding Commus versus Veritas and fix accordingly. With regard to the secret warehouse, somehow Word auto replaced my letter descriptions with numbers! Will fix.

With regard to Decimate, no...I got that one right. While its historical meaning (at the time of the Roman Empire) meant reduce by 1/10th, any dictionary you care to look at will show you its common usage in modern times means to "kill, destroy, or remove a large percentage or part of".

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
