Leilon: The Demon Mines

ADD TO WISHLIST >
Suggested Price $3.00

This is the 17th supplement to the module, Leilon: City of Adventure.  This also ties into the previous two adventures Leilon: The Noble Reception and Leilon: The Kobold Necromancer, but these are not needed to run this adventure.  The adventure was designed for 3rd level PCs to be 4th level before the end of the module.  It is 30 pages long and designed to be easily printed and played, containing all the monster and NPC stat blocks, along with descriptions of magic items and maps needed.

The adventure builds on prior knowledge within the city and external threats building from Neverwinter.  The time is right for the final assault into the mines to deal with the great demon lord Roxx.  This is the first assault to secure a foothold in the mines before later continuing deeper into his realm.  The adventure is broken down into 4 sections of action and exploration.  Each was designed to be played in one night of gaming as opposed to mapping a labyrinth of tunnels and mines.  The PCs need to secure the foothold in the mines and deal with the level boss before follow-on reinforcements can continue deeper.

I'm working on finishing it up. I had thought I posted it already when I posted this adventure.

Well, this probably ain't the best way to go about it, but I'm having a hard time finding any other way to get into contact.

I'd like to get talk with you Keith, I have a proposal.

My email is gvgeri2@hotmail.com , but if you have any other alternative means that you rather use, I'm all ears.

Couple of typos...

1) Page 4, the description for room #3 totally repeats the description for room #2, so no clue why there's Ghouls there in #3...

Also, this seems tough for level 4s IMO. Shouldn't it be an extension of your other Leilon adventures (which I love, FYI)?

Crumbs, I see that I never posted that one. Thank you for reminding me. It brings the PCs from level 2 to 3 and helps fill in some things before this adventure. I'll have to finish it this week and post it.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
