Revised 5 Color Magic Spell List

This project brings the 5 Color Magic paradigm from Magic: The Gathering into DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS and provides variant rules for using Color Mana to cast spells instead of spell slots.

Originally Tap Untap Burn devoted each spell in D&D to one of the five colors in M:tG: White, Blue, Black, Red or Green: but as the project continues to evolve, it's became apparent that most spells could be devoted to more than one color.

This document provides the revised, expanded color list of spells in the Player’s Handbook that will replace those currently presented in these linked supplements, but it's going to take a while to reformat the 100+ pages of content already available, so the list is provided here, so you can use these new options now.

All the variant rules in the linked supplements above still work perfectly with the new revised lists: there’s simply more flexibility provided herein when selecting spells and describing damage and effects, and the previews on the product pages linked above provide everything needed to include 5 Color Magic in your campaign.

If you’ve previously purchased Tap Untap Burn, the new expanded lists of spells for each casting class with all the additional spells from Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Lost Laboratory of Kwalish, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica, Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden, and Fizban's Treasury of Dragons have already been added to the zip files that are included with the purchased version of those supplements, so you can download them at DmsGuild.com at no additional cost.
