Tiefling Warlock pregenerated character – levels 1-10

There are ten XML files for Fantasy Grounds, each inspired by and corresponding to the levels 1-10 from the pregenerated characters that can be found here:

https://www.dmsguild.com/browse/pub/44/Wizards-of-the-Coast?filters=0_0_0_0_45462_0

To use these characters, import them using the import characters function in either the PC window in a campaign or in the manage character window from the main menu.

In the case of spell casters, as much as possible I have properly set the damage dice that goes with their spells if there is a change at higher levels. I also have automated abilities where possible.

This product does not contain the personality flavor text or any artwork found from the base character.  Any personality text is as found in the Player's Handbook, not as customized in the example character.   Significant work was done for each character to automate what could be automated and I have included notes on using abilities that cannot be automated in this document and, where applicable, in the XML file.  If you wish to use the story associated with the base characters, you will have to add it yourself.

The characters have been created using the Complete Core Pack as many of the choices are not in the SRD. You should be able to use them with just the specific character pack as well. I used the SRD for magic items, so there should not be need for paid DLC for those.

If you see any errors in the characters, please note them in the comments and I will try and correct and reload the characters.

I have asked for a “pay what you want” just as a “tip” for the time to do generate and automate the characters.

Tiefling Warlock Play notes

The base character is inspired by the character found here:

Abilities have been automated as appropriate.

Spell damage dice that vary by level have been automated.

The base character found in the link above is missing a language.  Rather than choose one, I left it up to you to pick one that makes sense in the campaign you play in.

I added the confusion spell and the levitate spell to the spells in the action list and noted that they come from a Warlock feature.

If your DM is using languages/fonts and your character is high enough level to be able to read any language (eyes of the rune keeper), then temporarily add the language on your character sheet before the DM types the text in the specific language.

Fiendish resistance is preset to fire.  Open up the effect via the magnifying glass and edit to another damage type as appropriate.  If you have several you are always using, set up new effects/actions with those specific damage types to save editing in the future.

Dark One’s Blessing – the effect needs to be applied manually as the trigger cannot be tested for in game.

Dark One’s own luck – this is to track usage only as the effect cannot be automated

Tiefling traits – I have added an effect to resist fire that can be applied and lasts until all effects are cleared.  Drag and drop the effect on your character.  The bonus spells for Infernal Legacy and the additional damage for Hellish Rebuke are already in the action tab (I built this as a power).

Spells – All the damages and durations are set to the Pact level.  If you delete a spell and add it back, be careful to get the settings right.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
