The 4th Edition skill challenge was good in concept but the maths behind it was shaky, this is my take on how to use a skill challenge with 5th Edition rules, including suggested DC's and experience awards. I have also drafted a check sheet for easy use.

RING OF THE NIGHT STAR
This signet ring appears to be of a fine dwarven craftsmanship but is clearly elven in design. It consists of a delicate looking band of silver ivy leaves and vines, that are impossibly woven together tapering outwards to meet a circular mounting.
