I've been playing fantasy RPGs and solo game books for over 30 years and I have to say The Death Knight's Squire is one of the most balanced and engaging solo play experiences I have had in years.

To be honest I was initially skeptical of the stated openness of being able to play any character type from the Player's Handbook but having now played through the adventure twice sucessfully I can honestly say it is balanced enough to make all classes viable options.

I'm now off to buy the next adventure in the series and I can say if you like 5e D&D and are looking for a fun, balanced fully realized adventure experience I HIGHLY recommend The Death Knight's Squire.
