TLDR: A nice level 4 one-shot with solid, straightfoward play and good presentation.

The Good:

Straightforward narrative with defined encounter zones. Statblocks are included in the text as-needed next to their respective encounters.

The art and layout are great (Homebrewery)? The artist who provided the color pieces has talent and makes for great cover and splash-page art. The creator provided some of their own pieces, which is always a boost.

A lot of care went into providing background and DM guidelines, including creative story rewards. Simple maps are provided as separate handouts and are included in the document, as well.

The Bad:

Not much. A few mix-ups (refers to an NPC 'Nib'Nib' as a goblin when they're a kobold) or minor errors here and there.

The narrow level requirement (4th level only) limits who can run the adventure--I've gotten a lot of consistent advice to broaden the level ranges to standard 1-4, 5-10, etc for broader appeal.

Summary:

A fun 4th-level adventure that delivers as promised. Worth checking out and incorporating where possible, or running independently.
