Let me first note that I agree with the mindset behind this product. A Pathfinder Arcanist in 5e is something I want, but this current version is busted beyond belief becaus of two exploits, Matamagic Knowlegde, Spell Improvisation. With Metamagic Knowledge, vanilla, it doesn't do anything because you don't have sorcery points, but, if the easy fix of just making it say "You can use your arcane pool instead of sorcery points to activate metamagic", then it makes the Sorcerer useless. You see, the only reason any one has any reason to play the Sorcerer is metagagic, but, with the Metamagic Knowledge exploit, the Wizard is better at being a Sorcerer than a Sorcerer, because they use metamagic better. Simply put, they have more uses of metamagic than a Sorcerer, and, eventually, will know more metamagic. And now, lets look at Spell Improvisation. What does this have to do with Improvisation, and why does it scale with your Dex modifier! None of the wizard's features are based on Dex, and, granted, the same is true for the Enchanter's Altered Memories feature and Charisma, that's because when I see an Enchanter, I think that guy must have a high Charisma, and the same Is just not true for the Arcanist and Dex. And while that was the brunt of my complaints, the rest of the thing still needs to be proof read.
