New concept on the Samurai. Thank God. Not picturing it as a dual wielding class of some sort that is super intimidating. Finally. Wish instead you had Iajutsu in there somewhere. Essentially that is what opening strike is, but from the sheathed form instead of drawn and in two hands.

However, Iajutsu could replace Blade of the Wind. It seems a bit much being able to attack up to your proficiency modifier in a turn. Later that is 6 attacks which is greater than the fighters 4. Plus that is in a single attack action, so you can do it all again till you're out of attacks and or Ki. For the level a bit overpowered. Not to mention perfected weapon, dropping all opponents AC by 5?! That is so strong especially when the AC cap is dropped in this edition so much. Drop it by 1; 2 at the utmost.

Shallow Reversal is interesting but it seems a little bit weak for being 10 Ki points. Drop it to 8 perhaps, or what the equivalent would be of a spell that does 6d10 dmg. Which is probably 10 lol; I don't deal with casting much. Regardless seems super expensive.

Overall, feels like a very anime sort of Samurai; and I dig it. Just needs a little rehashing and balancing. Some of the wording was a bit eh, but that could just be my personal preference. Truthfully though, I greatly enjoyed the class. Will talk to my DM about getting it in there and adapting it a bit. Perhaps there is a fighter archetype you could do. An armored Samurai instead of the Wayward Samurai. Regardless, well done.

Happy Gaming, T.G.
