It is a unique concept and a cool fluff; I personally prefer darker concepts for my campaigns. However, it seems it gets a bit much without any draw back. Making it kind of outrace some of the other races already in 5e. Albeit most of the things are to bolster allies and such still seems to get a tad bit more.
