Print editon - there is a bit of page left unprinted, but this reprint is looking great. More vibrent then I remember and pages are of nice quality paper.

Would buy more Prints, if these kinds, as the resell market is outrageous.

Absolutely loved this campaign!! Played through with a group of 3 (overpowered) players starting at level 10. Ended the campaign at level 17 (going into 18) This book has it all. Enemies a plenty, traps, lore, random tidbits about the environment and characters that appear. There are plenty of ways to solve the adventure while moving deeper into the Underdark. As an adventure that is just an aside to the War of the Spider Queen novels, City of the Spider Queen is really a great place to hop into if your players are wanting to do something besides the usual lvl 3-8 campaigns.

Took my group around 8 months to complete, playing ~4 hours per session once a week. This includes downtime for holidays and life events popping up.

Note to other DMs - the maps provided in the book are meant for the DM. WotC did provide some Player facing maps, but they can only be found on the Wayback machine and those versions are very small (like 300x500). My suggestion is to export the maps in some manner (pdf to jpg, screenshot) and drop them into your favorite editing software and just clean them up. The grid size is very inconsistent with the current scan. There are only really ~14 pages you would need to perform this for, but it is worth the effort.

As for 3e to 3.5 conversion (I played using 3.5 rules and books), here is what I would recommend: Use 3.5 version of the monsters where applicable. DR in 3e was used to offset a lower health pool for monsters. 3.5 has lower DR, but almost double the health pool where it matters. I often just cut the DR in half and made it DR/- to keep up the challenge. 3e vs 3.5 Haste - Many of the enemy tactics depend on having the 3e version of Haste (allows for an additional standard action). I separated these into different spells, renaming the 3e version to "Rapid" so that my players had the option to use it as well. If you do not plan to use the 3e version of Haste, please be ready to add some additional creatures to encounters to help bring up the difficulty.

Feel free to reach out to me on here if you have any questions! I loved running this campaign as DM and thought it was a blast!
