Amazing concept and thorough details to give a DM everything you need for an engaging encounter. Enough constraints to help keep play within the narrative, but the freedom for players to explore and be creative. Excellent job on this great concept.

I would love to play this again with another group!

Definitely enjoyed this adventure. Loved the concept of traveling across the plane of Air, charting your way through the unknown, following the clues to save the people of Ismond. This adventure features a wide variety of locals and monsters, with plenty of social interactions, puzzles, exotic fauna, planar entities, and combat to engage all sorts of different players and/or characters. The people and culture of Ismond are well-detailed and interesting, and their plight is a great motivator to press on through the obstacles and find a way to save them. The adventure features plenty of unique monsters and magic items, and the individual "islands" could easily be dropped into a different adventure.

While the original version does include a few typos and some admittedly basic maps, on a whole the adventure is quite strong, and one your players will talk about long after it's over.

I was a player (Cleric-Wizard) for this adventure and had a blast! The NPCs were well thought out and had depth. The overall mission was of great import (the saving of an entire island civilization) and I felt like the stakes were high enough to instill a lot of tension and weight to the decisions that we made. I had never been in the plane of air before, and I would certainly go back. The only down side was that the tension was so high that we skipped several of the island encounters to hurry our speed so that we could get back in time to save them all (which we did!). After reading through the entire thing afterward, I was bummed I didn't get to participate in all of the encounters. This adventure was more puzzle-heavy than others I've played, but I enjoyed that (though trying to solve a puzzle with six other people can sometimes take six times longer than it should...just saying). Overall, it was fantastic fun and I'm sorry to see this adventure end, even though I'm excited about what comes next! Seriously, you should try this one out.
