This really is a great log sheet. Great information on it, it's laid out in a really logical manner and there is room for many sessions. I spread the word every where I take it. Thanks for putting your time into this.

Really enjoyed this module. First, it has more than a few fun NPCs to roleplay to guide you to the boss fight. Love playing Soggy Wren and … uhm… "Grandmothers" are a hoot to play. The Ramshackle King has a fun backstory and a good scene. Since Tier 3 modules are much less common than 1s and 2s, a lot of the monsters in this module were new to me - and to the players. I just wish this were a "very strong" table, so I could see their faces when given a third gargantuan foe to face in an early fight!

I ran this today for a 4-person table, a Barbarian/Battlemaster 11, a Thief/Champion 11, a Light Cleric 13 and a Battlemaster 15. This table rated as a "weak" table and if I had to do it again, I'd probably give them the challenge of "average" or "strong" combats. Perhaps it was their hot dice and the fact that I kept rolling 3s for initiative, but my table didn't have too much of a threat during the battles. Since the module is generous with long rests, the characters were able to enter the final battle with full strength and all their combat abilities to unleash in each encounter. In the final boss battle, I upped the big bad's HP by 50 points and even with that buff, she was killed before she was able to take a second attack. Tier 3 characters have lots of attacks and powerful magical items and with a few hot rolls, a character could quickly knock 100+ HPs off of a BBEG.

Am I disappointed? Heck no. I really want to run this again. It's a fun adventure to run and now that I have one run-through under my belt, I'm looking forward to giving this another go. The players also had a great time.

I am having a difficult time figuring out what score to give this. There is a 5-star adventure in here with a few tweaks (or if run by a DM who is better at adjusting on the fly than me). Maybe it's a 4-star module as presented. Let's average it out and call it a 4.5, rounded up to 5 stars for this review. The next time I run it, I guarantee the table will be playing a 5-star adventure.

This module has it all - fun roleplaying opportunities, exciting combat, problem solving and a mystery to solve. The Cornflower Hive is NOT a monotonous one-dimensional adventure as your party will be doing something different every 30-45 minutes. No matter what your favorite style of play is, you'll find it here at some point. This is the third module I've run and/or played from these authors and they have consistently created fun adventures. (Check out The White Well and The Dark Hunt for their other fun modules). Highly recommended.

This is a great adventure. One of the most fun I've run. Lots of room for humor and a fair amount of roleplay potential. I ran this in a game store on a Saturday afternoon when nobody had any time restraints, so I wasn't trying to keep to the 2-hour runtime. So, I ended up running it in 3 1/2 hours. I think it could pretty easily been a 2 1/2 hours or less if I was in railroad mode. But my table was having a blast, so I just let the adventure run its course. The geometry of the final battle could have made a pretty quick TPK if a couple of the more powerfull spells would have been cast in the first couple rounds of the combat (I'll leave it at that). My table was a "weak" table - I think I had 3 level 5s, a level 6 and a level 8. However, the players wanted it run as an "average" level party and it was a pretty fair fight. They could have even had a bit more of a challenge at the end. All in all, a very fun time and universally loved by the entire table. My highest recommendation.

This is my go-to adventure to recommend to new DMs and I've used it more than a few times when I've had to fill in as an emergency DM. Pretty straightforward. Your party is told to transport a statue and some goods across the desert. En route, you encounter a few obstacles. This is a good adventure for new players as well - there is nothing in here that suggests you need to know any "inside information" about D&D in order to figure things out (for instance, what type of damage is effective on zombies). There are a few role-playing opportunities and some opportunities for straight-up attacking. Also, it has one of the best T1 magic items (in my Ranger's opinion).

This is so easy to use. It makes character generation and updating a breeze. The creator is also super redponsive to questions and issues. A must-buy for D&D players. Thanks!

I was fortunate enough to be asked to DM this at PDXage in 2017. I love this adventure. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a huge backstory that we are clearly seeing only a sliver of - I really hope Iam and William follow up on this adventure with more about the background of the major characters of this adventure. A good DM could surely use this adventure as a springboard into related adventures.

The illustrations in the PDF are a nice touch - you don't often see those in Adventurers League titles. The final battle is fun - I ran it once and played it a couple times and each time the table had a blast dealing with the challenges associated with the battle. Very good characters, as well.

Again, I'm hoping to see Iam and William continue to explor the tales of Lumin and Nasreet - this adventure reads like the first movie that could spawn a number of sequels (and prequels)! If you like this, be sure to check out The Dark Hunt, Iam's and William's 2nd tier adventure that also premiered at PDXage. That one is also a lot of fun - my 15 y/o son claims it's his most favorite adventure ever.

First, let me start by posting my son's (15 y/o) review: "The Dark Hunt was one of the best adventures I ever played. I first played it at PDXAGE with William, one of the creators, DMing it. It was an all around good adventure with a nice plot twist, a creature that I was waiting to see in an AL game, some really good magic items, and a really fun final boss. I would definitely recommend it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did."

I haven't yet DMed Dark Hunt but played it a twice at PDXage. It really is a fun adventure - it paces well, has a good mystery, a couple twists and a bit of humor. Also, there are a few illustrations in the PDF - a nice touch. I should also add that the authors of Dark Hunt (Iam Pace and William Murakami-Brundage) wrote another fine adventure called The White Well - if you like this, you'll really like The White Well. I'm hoping they keep writing! Looking forward to running this - as is my son. He's been visiting DMsGuild multiple times in recent weeks to see if it has been released yet. We are glad to have the opportunity to let others experience this adventure!

I really like this adventure - good roleplaying potential, for both the DM and the players. Not just a combat-combat-big combat module. It's really fun if you're running this after a bunch of other parnast adventures. Loved the reaction of my table when they realized they had the opportunity (or obligation) to kill (spoiler), a character they really got to love during an earlier Parnast adventure. The DM has tons of fun players to roleplay. One of the top couple adventures I've played and DMed in this season's modules.

Fun adventure - I really like it. It doesnt have much of a setup, so it's up to the party to decide how they got there. I am running this with Forge of Fury so I built the search for Khundukar into the setup. I have played this once (at Alan's table at PDXAGE) and really enjoyed it as a player. I also DMed it at a FLGS this week and it was a big hit. The table found a few opportunities to roleplay in lieu of combat, which is always fun. If a table wants, it could be a methodical, combat-heavy march through the caves but there are a fair amount of traps and hidden dangers to keep the party on their toes. Bottom line is that this is a great adventure. Kudos, Travis!
