"Bale's Outfitting Outpost" is great as either a one-off one-stop-magic-shop for the party, or as a permanent go-to place when they need to buy, sell, or trade magic items. Bale is an interesting character and I think he'll be fun for many DMs to play. The mini quest included is nice, a short protect-the-merchant scenario that's great when you're not sure what to do, or just need a bridge between chapters of your own story. It's also a good way to get the characters from one town to another. The magic items included, and the author's humor, are bonuses. :)
