Edgeslinger - Roguish Archetype

In the crowded taverns and narrow alleys of a city, there is no room to draw a sword or knock an arrow when danger strikes. Which it frequently does in the urban arena. So, it is the wise ruffian who trusts their life to a dagger. Silent, swift, and most notably, cheap, it is the ideal weapon for metropolitan combat.

Some rogues take their mastery of the dagger to greater heights—and distances. These Edgeslingers learn to throw knives with pinpoint accuracy, even being able to curve their trajectory. This has led to some on the streets referring to them as “impalement artists”. They are a storm of sharp, steel winds, slinging daggers and other lethal implements at incredible speeds.

Easily concealed from the eager eyes of the guards until the moment you slip it from its hidden sheath and into the gap in your enemy’s ribs, the dagger also lends itself to subtle acts of violence. Such means suit the Edgeslinger well, for they can draw their dagger and launch it across the room before their quarry can blink. And they’ll be dead before they know what hit them.

This knife-throwing subclass is perfect for ninjas, knaves, and ne'erdowells of all descriptions!
