The Land of Ash and Smoke. Once a hellish landscape of volcanic activity, now a nightmare region that hosts one of the scattered Soulmonger fragments. The fragment’s burgeoning power attracted the attention of the Red Wizards of Thay and, thankfully, adventurers who are willing to risk life and limb to keep the fragment from these vile arcanists. Can you reach the fragment before the Red Wizards make off with it? The hunt is on. Part Two of the Broken Chain Series.

This one is okay. The constant saves against exhaustion get old but I can see what the designer was trying to accomplish.

I played this adventure at a convention and was fortunate enough to be able to run it for my home store. This gave a nice chase aspect to it as well as a sense of urgency. This adventure was able to be ran in only (3) hours as I had some very...creative... players at my table that nearly circumvented a quarter of the encounters. I love how all (4) of these adventures tie in almost seamlessly to each other, it helps with building a clear reason as to why the adventurers would be there.

This 4 part series is a monster of a blow out to the season 7 slog through Chult. Unfortunately this mod suggests it should just be 3 parts.
This adventures seems like it should be the main hook for part 15 streams of crimson, instead of it own full run. It's nothing more then a walk through the land of ash and fire, meaningless battles with local creatures culminating in a punchup with an archmage.
I would use the intro with Laura to start a whole run of season 7 teir 4, drop the battle with the archmage into the mix and a mini boss battle and scrap the rest entirely. I know I'm being too hard on it, but the rest of this series is so good!

Characters:
M'Bao the Adder is tired of this journey, tired of his crappy minimum wage job and tired of lousey wizards telling him what to do all the time. I absolutly love the section involving him and his mercenaries.
Combat:
With so much of this mod just needless resource wasting...See more

Someone really needs to take the time to edit these things. My 12 year old thinks the proofreading is horrible. Of course, this is nothing new from WotC. Horribly amateurish.

Can anyone explain to me why the DM Guidance has the boss monster popping and out of his Globe of Invulnerability? Leaving it -- ever -- seems like one of the stupidest moves a wizard could manage.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
