I have a question. I understand activating an runic augmentation is a bonus action. Does it have any Verbal, Somatic components?

Additionally can the Runic Fighter dismiss the an active augmentation as a bonus action.

Not going to lie, I got the PDF online for free. I'm sorry for not paying for it but I don't have much spare cash at the moment, you can contact me at if you'd like me to delete the file from my laptop, or if you'd like to know the link to ask them to remove the file from their website. I will not be posting the link where I found it as to avoid hurting the sales of the product.

With that out of the way, I just want to say amazing job. This looks and reads like an official D&D supplement, and it's definitely worth the price tag if you have the money. The classes I've read seem balanced and the Chult chapter seems like something straight out of Adventure's League. Loads of new features with interesting and unique ideas throughout and the notes are a very funny addition. I would highly recommend buying this book, and I know I will properly pay for it as soon as I can. Best DMs Guild item I've downloaded so far, by a long shot.

Were the errors corrected? I would love to buy it in print, but only if they were corrected

No. Since it reached platinum and it's sales topped out I doubt they care. Use the guild adept label to sell a few thousand copies and call it a day.

I respectfully disagree. Sorry for the delay. We've just all gotten fairly overwhelmed with a ton of new projects that also have their own deadlines. Not only are we planning on going through the book again, we also have some additional plans for this project, which we'll be announcing once we have it ready to go. :)

Well, the comments on the editing combined with the atrocious ideas of critical fail/hit tables are enough to say I won't be paying money regardless of who it is that is involved in the writing. Too bad, because a lot of it looks interesting, but if I want crap editing, I can do my own fails.

Also would love to buy the POD but I need to know that it's gotten that editing TLC.

I would love to buy this in print, but I'm waiting for another revision. Still sounds like there are a lot of errors.

I was totally ready to buy the physical book of this until I read how many errors are in it. I guess I'll just wait...

Anyway you could all agree to get his converted to use in Fantasy Grounds VTT format? I think this would sell fairly well, above and beyond what it has done already.

I'll get one printed once the editing mistakes get fixed.

Hello I was wondering from where the softcover book would be shipped if I'm going to order it from Italy. Is it from US?
Customer avatar

I would also be interested in where it's shipped from, as a UK resident. I've been burned by import/shipping fees from the US before.

Amazing! One of the best fith edition books for both players and Dm's. A players Handbook 2 in all the best ways, especially for the price. Scoured through my print version and ordering a couple more for my group. Must Have.
Well Done

I came here to also mention the editing issues. The ideas are solid, fun, and I will probably use them! But there are so many little mistakes with the grammar and punctuation, some that change the intended meaning of the ability (I think.) For example:

Stroke of Inspiration
At 10th level, you seem to stumble upon the right clue,
connection, or words, even when you have no idea what
is going on. When you fail a Charisma, Intelligence, or
Wisdom-based ability check, *you expend a use of your
rage to reroll the check with advantage.* < I am assuming that should be "can expend" or "may expend" not a forced expenditure of rage to reroll each failure.

I will edit for you for free if you give me an editor credit!

I've made that offer at my job several times and never been taken up on it. Why people turn down free editing is beyond me.

Is there a way to get the bonus pdf by itself? I just want the pregen characters.

I just purchased the supplement and I really enjoy the flavor of the subclasses.

So far, I've come across one issue: The barbarian Path of Sacred Kin shows a discrepancy between the Cantrips text entry and the Cantrips Known column of the spellcasting chart. The text entry states that you learn 3 at level 3 and then an additional cantrip at level 10. However, the spellcasting chart Cantrips Known column shows that you learn 2 cantrips at level 3 and then gain 1 more at level 10.

So which is correct? The text entry for Cantrips or the spellcasting chart Cantrips Known column?

I want to review this product and give it a fair star rating but the (lack of) editing mistakes irritate me so much I have to stop myself from slamming it in a review.
For the authors involved I would think there wouldn't be *so* *many* *errors*

Next draft please fix as much as possible, have someone professional go over it more than once.
And for the love of content PLEASE correct the

"Domain Spells
You gain domain spells at the cleric level listed in the
Entropy Domain Spells Table. See the Divine Domain
class feature for how domain spells work."
"Survival Domain Spells"

copy and paste laziness. That one really triggers me for some reason.

(Unless of course I'm supposed to give my survival cleric entropy domain spells...)

The editing in this book is really atrocious. Not just the typos and grammatical issues, but the rules texts themselves. It seems as if some of the authors as well as the editors aren't actually terribly familiar with the way Wizards writes rules, or even some of the game's rules themselves. Right away, in the very first subclass, Path of the Courageous Heart, the very first feature, Matter at Hand, "gives" the Barbarian proficiency with unarmed attacks (and improvised weapons). It's an interesting thing to give to a class because the Player's Handbook has been issued official errata to clarify that ALL characters are proficient with their unarmed strikes. This feature was bad to begin with from a power standpoint, and this just makes it worse.

I expect better out of Adept stuff, frankly. Both of the druid subclasses are very poorly written/worded, Atonement monk is just straight overpowered, some of the abilities make references that reveal pretty clearly that some of the designers were...See more

Rules Edition(s)
Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
