The sudden appearance of the undead within Port Nyanzaru doesn’t appear to be the only thing on the horizon.

A vast horde of skeletons and zombies is moving towards the city and while those of means are safe within the city’s walls, those in the Old City and Malar’s Throat are forced to contend with the problem. Where did they come from?

More importantly, what are you going to do to find out?

Part Two of The Rot from Within Trilogy.

We (Wizards) recognize that some of the legacy content available on this website does not reflect the values of the Dungeons & Dragons franchise today. Some older content may reflect ethnic, racial, and gender prejudice that were commonplace in American society at that time. These depictions were wrong then and are wrong today. This content is presented as it was originally created, because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed. Dungeons & Dragons teaches that diversity is a strength, and we strive to make our D&D products as welcoming and inclusive as possible. This part of our work will never end.

A fantastic adventure that was well worth the price. The barrels are a nice touch.

Wonderful adventure to run. Definitely the most entertaining part for me was seeing how many people actually wanted to get shot over the wall and how many people wanted to wade through the undead. The gargantuan t-rex was also an interesting way to end the module.

5/5 this was amazing, the barrels were great, I ran the encounters to happen back to back with no chance to rest, otherwise they would have been pointless. final "dungeon" and boss were inspired

Players love the barrels and has a few tough spots that really start to show from Tier 2 teeth here.

This one you pretty much need to run Theater of the Mind Style, because any attempt at representing the undead hordes with minis on a grid is just going to lose the impact.

Nonetheless, it was a fun ride (especially the BARREL).

Well written with interesting combat encounters. The final battle was slightly underwhelming but I believe this was due to the party's tactics.

4/5 - would run again
Fun adventure with an epic ending. I liked that the adventure was not as liniar as some of the others. There was some good RP possibilities.
THe barrel part was stupid as it kinda destroyed the stressfull situation of an undead invasion.

Excellent adventure. Recently ran this for our group. Fun encounters with plenty of information provided for the DM on how to balance and alter each part of the story.

Undead Gargantuan King-Rex. it's enough to be a reason to be played.

This adventure was very fun to play in AL although if I were to run it I would alter the stats of the final monster to compensate for size as it was rather a pushover.

I ran this as part of an online convention.
Bird Person to save the day! The end boss of this was interesting but my party seemed to deal with it fairly easily. Perhaps a more difficul boss fight? Aside from that I appreciate the RP foundation laid in this mod for the conclusion of the trilogy.

Who can i talk to about providing an FG module for this?

SPOILERS:

I ran this module at a charity event and was provided with a copy. I have not purchased it yet. The best thing about this module was the boss fight by far. My characters all appreciated the realization that they were in the thing's stomach and had to quickly climb out. I feel like the damage was insufficient for the direness of the situation they were in or to challenge higher leveled party members so I upped that or maximized it where needed. Also a cool idea was to have the zombies come to life as the party is fleeing so they can act in initiative order and potentially grapple the party while their allies tear into them. The resulting fight scene was epic with my party throwing everything they had into the boss. Love surprise T2 monsters with Legendary Actions.

I'm glad you adjusted the adventure to better fit your group, and it sounds like an EPIC BATTLE. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall. ;D

Be aware, the CERT has the correct Rope of Entanglement as the 1st cert on the page, the middle & bottom certs are (what looks like) left over from other adventure and show Staff of the Woodlands but have the text for the Rope of Entanglement. Since you just need the 1 top CERT this doesn't really affect things, just an FYI to trash the bottom two CERTS.

There's a common typo on p. 4 (Part 1, in bulleted list).

Reads: "The task force must get *passed* the..."

Should be: "The task force must get *past* the..."

This is at least the second published Season 7 adventure to make exactly the same typo error.

Spell-check is not a substitute for careful proof-reading, adventure writers. :-)

Hope to see this fixed in the next revision.

Man, I’m usually really proud of keeping my writing typo-free, but you schooled me on this one. Thanks for teaching me a thing!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
