4/5 I ran this along with ddal07-08 and combined them to make one big module with a 4 hour run time. it worked really well as they are very similar and go to the same places.

As pointed out herein, there are some problems in the edit. Also, there is no rewards summary page that most modules have, which makes calculations (pre-season 8) harder. To speed things up, do all the random encounters pre-rolled and planned out. But it is a fun adventure.

So, I have to say based on the Reviews, the comments, the criticisms, the complete and utter lack of responses by the Creator, and no comments by the Creator, Ms Cindy Moore, regarding any aspects of the product indicating that any of the issues associated with the product have been rectified - that this is, unfortunately, one sale I'm passing on. It's a shame too. I really was looking forward to the Adept's works for Chult and something that was different from everyone else's works, especially since there has been plenty of time do so...

Jasmine below noted ‘some’ errors within this module which doesn’t come anywhere near the amount I found. May I suggest you get a 2nd and 3rd pair of trained eyes to look over this. Looks somewhat embarrassing from what I would expect from an Adept standard.

Any chance on getting this converted for use in Fantasy Grounds? Or if not, can we get a text version so that I can quickly make my own?

I ran this mod a couple of weeks back. It was a welcome mod for some of my players who happened to XXX off the leadership at this encampment. Having someone new take charge and give them a pass for escaping was pretty good. The party had a great weight lifted off of their shoulders because of this. It was a pretty good mod to run

I ran this. Now I started the new trilogy of AL modules with the same group. I want to avoid spoilers but any ideas on how to run 07-08 Putting the Dead to Rest without it seeming repetitive?

I played down the final encounter. Added in a hoard of zombies for players to brute force through burning resources or sneak through. I also added in some encounters from encounters in the jungle of chult that really pulled in some themes. Statue with su-monster skulls that kept turning up. Monkey see monkey do from Encounters. Even getting to camp, there was a tropical storm forcing the party to portage a little through the jungle. The BBEG isn't that big and bad in this so I made it more about the journey.

On page 13, the Treasure section lists "a circlet made of gold and precious gems" but no value is given for it.

Anybody have an estimated time of how long the adventure takes to run?

Any chance of getting a printer friendly version of this? I only received one pdf when I downloaded the file and it's 19MB in size. I shiver at the thought of how much toner I would go through trying to print these stylized pages.

As a DM i failed to prepare a adventure for the evening so Downloaded this for $3 and ran it, it was worth the price. With a few minor changes to fit my campaign, it ran smooth don't think my players even noticed my lack of unpreparedness.

My computer is saying that there is a problem with the format of this document and that it cannot be opened. Is there something wrong with the file?

Hi, can you give an estimated run time for this module please? A Target Adventure Level or APL would be useful too. Helps for scheduling them for local and convention play. Thanks!

What is the difference between the 2 pdfs? I've opened both and they seem to be the same.

Also to tie in with Rick U, same sentence, Wizards of THE coast :) Also, page 3, A DM' guild adept Adventure for use with..... is there something that is supposed to be in that blank space?

looking forward to reading it through and using it in my campaign, thanks!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
