Warlocks: Patrons, Powers, and Blood

ADD TO WISHLIST >

The Warlock class is, without a doubt, my all time favorite class of 5e. I simply adore the class, and as a result I have created quite a large amount of supplementary material related to said class. I provide it all to you here. In this product you will find 4 new patrons, 49 unique expanded spell lists, 12 new invocations, 6 variations on the Profane Soul options, 3 new familiars, and 2 elementals.

Four new Otherworldly Patron options!

  • The Anarch: Beings from the wildly writhing chaos of Limbo are capable of granting warlocks access to the maddening tumult of the chaos underpinning all things. This archetype focuses on exciting, unpredictable powers that introduce a wide variety of possibilities to any combat scenario.

  • The Axiomite: The authorities of Mechanus such as Primus, the Inevitables, and the Formians are able to grant pacts to warlocks seeking to impose order on the world. This archetype focuses on consistency and damage control.

  • The Oneiric: Denizens of the dream lands such as beholders and powerful Archfey can grant warlocks a taste of the limitless potential of the mental realm. This archetype focuses heavily on status affliction and espionage.

  • The Primordial: The beings of untamed elemental power that form the building blocks of the physical world can grant pacts to ambitious warlocks. Imix, Olhydra, Ogremoch, Yan-C-Bin, genies, and other elemental beings are all valid options for this archetype, which takes cues from the fiend pact and focuses on durability and damage output. Includes options for taking a pact from primordials of the following affinities: air, earth, fire, water, ice, and ooze.

I have also created unique expanded spell lists for patrons described in the Player's Handbook to give players a wider range of more thematically appropriate options to choose from

Archfey Patrons:

  • Fomorian Lord

  • Grandmother Hags

    • Green Hag

    • Sea Hag

    • Annis Hag

    • Bheur Hag

  • Hyrsam, Prince of Fools

  • Nymphs

    • Dryads, the tree nymphs

    • Boreals, the snow nymphs

    • Lampads, the cave nymphs

    • Naiads, the river nymphs

    • Nereids, the ocean nymphs

    • Oreads, the mountain nymphs

    • Vestals, the fire nymphs

  • Oberon, the Green Lord

  • Prince of Frost

  • Queen of Air and Darkness

  • Titania, the Summer Queen

Demon Lord Patrons, offering you unique abyssal alternatives to the more infernally themed spell list for the Fiend Patron. All of the key demonic powers of the Rage of Demons storyline are featured, with spell lists inspired by their unique form of madness.

  • A generic Abyssal spell list

  • Generic Balor

  • Baphomet

  • Demogorgon

  • Orcus

  • Graz'zt

  • Fraz-Urb'Luu

Custom spell lists for Great Old One patrons:

  • Atropus, the World Born Dead

  • Dendar, the Night Serpent

  • Father Llymic

  • Ghaunadaur, That Which Lurks

  • Kezef, the Chaos Hound

  • Moander, the Darkbringer

  • Tyranthraxus, the Flamed One

  • Zargon, the Returner

There is also a selection of unique eldritch invocations thematically oriented around specific patrons.

The Blood Hunter class is one of the most popular homebrew classes out there, and it features an archetype that centers around making a pact with an otherworldly entity: the Profane Soul. The archetype detailed the options available for pacts made with Archfey, Fiends, and Great Old Ones, so I have elected to include options for patrons detailed here as well as the Far Traveler and Undying Light patrons detailed in the Unearthed Arcana.

I have also included new options for familiars:

  • Antikytheran Beasts: By simply applying this template to any standard familiar option, you create a specialized robotic familiar that would serve any warlock well

  • Attache: These snarky one eyed droids make excellent assistants for diplomats and spellcasters alike, even once they start developing personalities and minor glitches

  • Metamorph: These cute little pink blobs can transform into any standard familiar option as a free action. Perfect for the warlock who doesn't want to have to choose just one

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
