  • New Class Archetypes include:
    • New Bard College: College of Resistance. These firebrands use their knowledge of history and revolution to let others in the fight against tyranny;
    • New Martial Archetype: Waterdhavian Duelist. Elite fighters dedicated to mastering the art of one-on-one combat, using secret techniques taught only by exclusive teachers;
    • New Martial Archetype: Thayan Knight. Shaped into the ultimate guardians by the Red Wizards of Thay, these fighters are adept at fighting alongside spellcaster allies, and possess iron wills hardened by the horrors of their homeland;
    • New Paladin Oath: Oath of the Weave. The Knights of the Weave are unparalleled protectors of magic with a long history in the Realms, gifted with access to spellfire itself and now in resurgence alongside the Weave they'd die to defend;
    • New Ranger Conclave: Ghostwalker. Mysterious wanderers returned to the world from the Fugue Plane to bring hard reckoning to the wicked, they travel from town to town and vanish into the sunset when justice is served;
    • New Ranger Conclave: Stalker. Revised from the author's previous work, this simplified archetype presents urban hunters whose perceptive gifts make them the ultimate investigators; 
    • New Roguish Archetype: Thought Taker. No secret is safe from these telepathic spies, trained in the dark art of psychic skullduggery;
    • New Sorcerous Origin: Spellfire Channeler. Infused with the raw power of magic itself, these sorcerers develop their natural gift into overwhelming mastery of spellfire;
    • New Warlock Otherworldly Patron: The Wyrd Coven. These warlocks' patrons are far more then mere hags, and the unearthly insight they gain from outside time itself combines with fell alchemical concoctions to outwit any foe;
    • New Wizard Arcane Tradition: Guild Wizardry. Members of an arcane order who share resources in pursuit of magical power, these wizards can borrow spells from distant wizards and excel at out-casting other arcanists;
    • New Wizard Arcane Tradition: Simbarch of Aglarond. Trained in the personal magical secrets of the greatest spellcaster of her time, these wizards can heal themselves with pure arcane might and conjure storms of untamed spellfire.
    • All these archetypes are supported with special custom spells!
  • New feats include: The innate ability to wield spellfire, the raw substance of magic itself, and the power to turn tragedy into magical triumph by mastering a spellscar.
  • Setting info includes: Exhaustive details on major factions beyond the likes of the Harpers and Zhentarim, including the sorcerous Arcane Brotherhood of Luskan, the insurgent Thayan Resurrection, the drow-dominated Horizon Syndicate, the magic-policing Cloaks of Mulmaster, and more!

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
