ADD TO WISHLIST >

NOW REVISED: Version 2.0 updates all subclasses based on playtesting and customer feedback, revises warforged subraces as feats for full compatibility with Eberron: Rising from the Last War, adds new spells, and features an entirely new layout.

Alchemical Archetypes: Created & Creators provides new character options and DM tools for campaigns featuring player alchemists, constructs, and creators of artificial life, as well as new construct monster types and more for any D&D setting, including Ravenloft and the Forgotten Realms. This product also includes several new class archetypes, new spells, and new races, including the alchemically augmented half-golem, with four subraces: Click the preview to see the whole table of contents and more!

Now available for a temporary price of $6.95, which includes all the added bonus content as well as all new content to come!  This living document will continue to grow and improve based on your feedback--  more rules and new content will be added as new sales levels are reached, and while the price will go up for those who purchase later, buying now gets you all future updates at no extra charge.

  • New Class Archetypes include:
    • New Primal Path: Path of the Juggernaut. Barbarians who grow into a new and larger monstrous form when they rage, thanks to surviving horrific experimentation;
    • New Sorcerous Origin: Alchemical. Born with the magic of alchemy in their blood, these sorcerers are living philosopher's stones, able to brew potions or enchant items with a touch and grant life to the inanimate;
    • New Otherworldly Patron: The Architect of Order. Opening their minds to a great living machine of Daanvi, Mechanus, or another plane, these warlocks gain construct-like abilities, unshaksable mental discipline; and the loyalty of a modron servant;
    • New Arcane Tradition: Reanimation. Wizards who study this esoteric philosophy manipulate the vital energies of living creatures, empowering their spells, sustaining their own bodies, and eventually creating life itself;
    • JUST ADDED: New Druid Circle: Circle of the Solstice. These passionate druids combine alchemical herbs and the power of the totem spirits to briefly transform parts of their bodies for quick, decisive actions rather than relying on long-term shapeshifting.
    • And more class and character options!
  • The New Half-Golem race: Adapted from previous editions of the D&D game, these poor souls have had parts of their bodies replaced with the limbs of golems. Four subraces allow them to share the abilities of clay, flesh, iron, or stone golems.
  • Warforged Subrace Feats: Newly revised and updated from playtest data, this version of the classic warforged race includes five feats to represent subraces, from heavily armored constructs with adamantine bodies to the psychically gifted psiforged, along with a rules variant to let you begin play with a subrace.
  • New Monsters include: The dread golem, far more human-like than a flesh golem, motivated by hatred for the creator with whom it shares a telepathic bond; the clockwork crawler, a slithering construct with that paralyzes its foes with deadly poison; terracota soldiers, an army of stone constructs made to protect a long-dead emperor; and many more!
  • Construct templates, allowing you to transform existing monsters into powerful golems of any type.
  • New spells, warlock pact options, variant archetypes, and more!
A content-packed resource for players and DM's alike Alchemical Archetypes: Created & Creators unleashes the power of alchemy, the blasphemous creation of artificial creatures, magical secrets for manipulating the energies of life itself, and armies of new golems and other constructs for any D&D 5th Edition game.

The only gripe I have is that the new Warlock Pact Boon, Pact of the Eye, has no accompanying Invocations for it. I have a player that wants to use it, but I don't know how I should go about making invocations. Is there a possibility of some invocations being added?

Typo on page 9. Under living Alchemy says cantriips.

Also, I don't like how the Alchemical Reanimator feature says no one else can use the Manual of Golems. What if an NPC wants to use it. I think it should say only those with "proficiency" can use this Manual of Golems. or maybe it takes a while to discern what the Sorcerer meant like wizard spellbooks.

Under Reanimated Flesh you should say you need to rests like you did before instead of you take rests like normal.

The Modron Servant Feature shouldn't say that the Pentadrone is a construct instead of a beast.

The Partial Construct ability giving resistance to damage from nonmagical attacks is really strong!

See above for Eldritch Reanimator too.

For the Golem Templates just say the AC is 16 plus dex instead if it increasing because someone might see the warrior wearing plate and a shield turns into a construct and now has 26 AC.

Finding it very interesting so far! Question though, for Reanimated Flesh Golem Strength, what's the duration on the increased resilience? And when do the hitpoints lost by Reanimated Flesh Golem Strength return?

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
