Paladin - Oath of the Temple

So I designed this paladin oath to give a player more reaction abilities, something that is lacking in many paladin archetypes.  Also, the spell choice definitely doubles down on the aura abilities.  Further, the channel divinity gives a bubble of temporary hp (as opposed to flat healing, so as to not step on the toes of the Oath of the Crown).  Basically, this is the support class paladin, someone who doesn’t do damage but can turtle up and let other spellcasters or ranged folks do a lot of damage.

Is it me, or 6 the 10 Oath Spells are spells Paladins can already get from their "non-Oath" list? (Cure Wounds, Aid, Lesser Restoration, Aura of Vitality, Aura of Purity, Dispel Evil and Good) I would either draw from the Druid/Cleric of Life lists or come with new spells entirely (around some ideas like temporary hitpoints, advantage on survivability checks, etc)

Well, the Oath of Devotion also has mostly all Paladin spells and Cleric of Life has mostly all Cleric spells, so there is a precedent that you don't need to draw from other classes, but I will say I hadn't looked at the druid spell lists for options, nor had I looked at the Elemental Evil spells. I will look into them and see if any of them fit the theme.

Not drawing from spell sources that are barred to the class has the benefit that allows the players to choose with more ease and precision the spells he has to (i. e. "If I already can use by default this and this spells from my possible list, then I can focus my other spells on other stuff that can vary" kind of thing) The downside of that, however, is that, basically, aside from Channel Divinity and Oath-specific features, that kind of archetype differs little from the "normal" main class.

It not inherently wrong or right by itself, but it has to conform to the vision you have for the class.

This is a great archetype. One small item I noticed - there is a typo where the word MANY shows up instead of MAY in the level 7 ability description. Beyond that, this is stellar work!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
