I found this adventure to be ok. Though i wished there so more substance to plot instead of having the lady attack the party

What level is this adventure optimized for? On page 2 it says "optimized for six 7th-level characters." However, one left side of page 3 it says "optimized for a party of seven 5th to 10th level characters." Then AGAIN on the right side of page 3 the APL table says that 6-7 characters equivalent to the APL is considered a STRONG party....you would expect it to be average since it says it is optimized for 6 (or 7) characters.

Which is it?

In all Adventurer's League modules, you will have those three different bits of text.

1) "Optimized for six 7th level characters"
2) "optimized for a party of 7 5th to 10th level characters"
3) the table

The first line is showing the "APL" for the module, which you then reference in the table using the party APL to determine how weak or strong the party is in relation to the module. The second line is just giving you the tier, in this case it's Tier 2 (5th to 10th level) If you have 7 party members, all level 5, they will be an APL (average party level) of 5. Then you look at the table and determine what 7 "below APL" is for the party, which is probably Average. If your party consists of 4 party members of level 8, 5, 10, and 8, that's an APL of 8 (round up for .5 or higher). So then you would look in the table for 3-4 "below APL" and probably find that is "very weak". Each combat encounter in the module will...See more

I didn't get one but am looking for reasoning as to why it's only a +1 battleaxe, typically reserved for T1.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
