The full character sheet allows you to generate identical sheets to the one here, but inside the same pdf as your Character Sheet, spell sheets, companion sheets, etc. If you are looking for a powerful tool that can do all that, try MPMB's Character Record Sheet.

These Adventure Logsheets only works with Adobe Acrobat version DC, either Reader, Standard, or Pro, running on Mac OS or Windows. Note that mobile versions of Adobe Acrobat do not support the auto-fill and auto-calculations (see FAQ). Get Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for free here.

Mac users, please be careful to never open the sheets with Preview. Opening them even once with Preview will cause the sheet's form-fillable fields and automation to be the subject to a disintegration spell.

Please note that the version number of these sheets is to indicate the version of MPMB's Character Record Sheet they were extracted from. These sheets will most often be of a lower version than the Character Record Sheet, because not all updates include changes that are pertinent to the Adventure Logsheets.

Please take a look at the sheet's built-in FAQ before posing your questions.

If you try this sheets, please rate them and, if you feel like it, write a review. I would love to get your feedback!

A big thanks to Gretkatillor over on The code in this character sheet (since its redesign from v6.0 onwards) was inspired by Gretkatillor's work.

I really like your character creator. Are you planning to update it with XGtE? And if you are, where can I get it from?

Hi. Great sheet. I'm amazed at what dances you are making it do behind the scene. I have not yet found a way to alter saving throws (like if they are wearing a ring or cloak of protection). How do I make it dance that little ditty?

I don't know if there's a better way, but here's how I did it: In the Javascript window, click on the "Mods" button. This will display an editable field for an "All Saves" modifier. Enter the appropriate value there. Click the "Mods" button again to hide the fields again.

Cheers! Hope that helps!

Hm, would use, but I don't have acrobat pro so I cant remove the autocalculations. It gets in the way when applying DM rewards (as I dont want to spend a whole lot slot for a couple quests do to me printing my logs)

I would love to make the sheets work with DM rewards. However, I don't play Adventure League myself (this is just an extracted page from my bigger Character Sheet project), so I don't know what you are referring to exactly when you say you can't apply DM rewards.

What would you change in the automation to make it compatible with DM rewards?

What happened to your character sheets that were on DMsguild? The page links no longer work

Wizards of the Coast has ordered DMs Guild to take down my character sheets and spell sheets. So they are gone. If you bought them here before, you should still be able to get access to them via your My Library page:

Does this mean updates are going to stop without the use of scripts? (I saved a 'blank' canvas a long time ago when I first got it, I just noticed cause one of our group just started playing)

The future of the sheets is uncertain for now. I'll post an update when I have one. That will then probably be on Patreon, Reddit, Twitter, and ENworld.

by chance, could you link me to one of the first three. I'd love to be able to get info on it, but I didn't know you had any of those lol

The links to all four are written in the description above. Unfortunately DMs Guild comments can't have links in them and DMs Guild descriptions can't have clickable links to other sites in them. So the links are written, but aren't clickable.

I really like the layout of this sheet, but the autocomplete feature is annoying.

If you create a page and print it, it will show as page 1 of 1;
Then you adventure some more and create another page and print it: page 2 of 2;
repeat the process: page 3 of 3;
Like... I don't plan to reprint every page every time I add a new one.
I feel like it would be better to only show 1, 2, 3; and so on...

Also, I think the page should show the level I was when I started the page... not the same level in every page;
Like: When I start the the first page I am a Fighter 1, I adventure and complete the same page, should be something like Fighter 3 or 4 after 6 logs entries. But when I edit that on the second page, the first page change as well.

I think the layout is great and way better than the official one.
But this two things are really bugging me.

That said: Thank you for your sheet!! =]

I'm sorry to hear that you don't like the autocomplete features of the sheet, but that is really their whole purpose, to make calculations easier.

The page number is set up like this so that the first page then shows "1 of 3", and the second page "2 of 3", while the last page will always be "X of X".

If you want the class fields not to be linked, you can remove the code that links them. This will require Adobe Acrobat Pro however.

Alternatively, you can use my Character Record Sheet, which includes these exact same Adventurers Logsheets, and run a Custom Script to disable this auto-fill of the class and level fields on the Adventurers Logsheet pages. Just let me know if you want the code for this. There you could also change the "X of X" to just show the page number with some custom script.

It's ok!!
I already found the code and removed it. Thank you for letting me do it.
Now I am happily using your logsheet.

Much appreciated!!

Thanks for your sheets they are awesome. Would it be possible to add a way for the logsheets to print blank with no page number?

Hi Donald,

Sorry for the late reply, I kinda missed your comment there.

This sheet doesn't offer any ways of printing a completely empty version, but the full Character Record Sheet ( does. With the full version you will first have to make the AL sheet visible (use the "Layout" button), and then print the sheet using the "Print" button/bookmark. There you will see an option to hide all fields and to just print the Adventure Logsheet.

Just curious, in what download is the "wild shapes" page? I downloaded both of the others already and did not see them

morepurplemorebetter J April 18, 2017 7:42 am UTC
You can see a preview of the pages in the description of the download. The "Wild Shapes" pages are in the Character Record Sheet, both the Printer Friendly and the Colourful variants.

In the Character Record Sheets, some pages are hidden by default. You can make them visible by clicking on the (greyed-out) bookmark for those pages, or by using the "Layout" button in the 'JavaScript Window' or the "Layout" bookmark.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
