5 Minute Workday Presents: Treasure & Art Objects

Skip the piles of coins and generic gemstones. Take back your campaign's treasure and make your player's loot fun and interesting!
Instead of just dumping a sack of 250 gold into their laps, give them a goblet made of a human skull adorned with silver. Rather than just a heap of 750 platinum give your party a sculpted wood triptych carved from Yggdrasil.

This product contains charts with literally hundreds of new Art Objects for your game. 400 mundane treasures to include in treasure hoards, ranging in value from 25 gold pieces to a staggering 7500 gold pieces.
Also included are smaller charts with sets of trade goods that can be added to hoards in place of art objects, coins, and gems. Mix-and-match these sets of 50-odd trade goods and reward your players with barrels of honey, a keg of ale, or a bolt of silk cloth.

Version 1.01

Minor corrections to some table misnumbering and a copy/paste error in the trade goods section

I love this, it's going to be so helpful especially when dealing with settings that run on bartering over coin. But there is One small error, and I hate to nit pick it, on the 7,500 gold piece art object there is no result for the 100 result.

Nitpick away. A few small errors did creep in (and a larger one I just noticed).
I'll upload a version in the next day or two...

Thanks. I noticed a couple errors such as 750 barrels of coal and 500 chickens for 10 gold. The chickens I can see for 2cp a piece, though I think it might be a silver a piece. But The barrels are worth more than the coal.

The price of chickens is set as 2cp in the Basic Rules/PHB.

I can honestly think that when I figured out how much coal would cost per barrel, I didn't consider the adventurers also selling the barrels.

I love this, and I'm very glad I purchased it. Well worth the money. Would it be possible to update it with a printer-friendly version?

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
