Suggested Price $2.99

UPDATE (10/24/2017): This title is now available for free (donations, of course, are welcome), as is the first volume, available here.

The long-awaited second volume of the Lost Bestiaries series, this hefty document brings 20 new Dragons to 5th Edition, each ripped from the pages of history. Not only that, but an enormous amount of additional content is included. All together, this volume contains:

  • 20 Dragons, including the Gem Dragons, Neutral Dragons, and a selection of Planar Dragons. Statistics for all four standard age categories are provided for each creature, accompanied by a MonsterManual style write-up detailing the creature's habits, strategies, favored environment, and more! That's over 80 Stat blocks in total, all for just five bucks!
  • Of course, how could one do the Gem dragons justice without also including their defining characteristic; Psionics. Based on the rules presented in the official playtest material, this volume includes over a dozen new Psionic Disciplines which are not only used by the dragons herein, but can also be poached by those playtesting the Mystic class.
  • In addition to Psionic Disciplines, a small selection of New Spells are also included, which any character wishing to utilize draconic magic can pick up.
  • Finally, this volume is chock full of player content, including three new Dragonborn Subraces (Draconian, Dray, and Spellscale) and two new Playable Races (Kobold and Lizardfolk), and nearly twenty New Feats available to those who wish their characters to emulate the might of dragons!
  • These pages are also illustrated with full-color digital artwork depicting each of the 20 dragons, and more!

And for those who aren't sure whether they will use all of the crunchy material in this hefty volume, check out these smaller content packs containing the groups of dragons contained in this volume:

- Gemstone Dragons

- Neutral Dragons

- Elemental Dragons

- Planar Dragons (Neutral)

- Player Content Pack

- (NEW) Bonus Dragon Compilation 2

One question though, may you release a printer-friendly version? I plan to pay money for this later.

Dear Daniel Shea!

I have bought the full version of Legacy of Io Volume 2, and wanted to ask you, if it would be possible for you, to unlock the exclusive dragons in the single buyable volumes for people who bought the full version. That would make me a very happy person, as I love the content you put out!

With best regards

Daxter

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
