There's a few minor discrepancies, but nothing major. A few features look superfluous, though. "Using your ranged attack as though it were a melee weapon attack" being one of them. You're already a Dex-Based monk. Just take Crossbow Expert and Sharpshooter and you're fine. Another minor thing I noticed, there's no such things as Free Actions in this edition, so you might want to rephrase that one ability to do away with potentially confusing language. Thirdly, spending 3 ki points to cast Faerie Fire on a target you shoot is one thing, but having it impose Disadvantage is a tad much. Especially because your level 17 ability just says you're going to now pierce him with every shot you take. Fourthly, when you have advantage and disadvantage, they cancel each other out entirely, giving you a normal attack roll, so you can trim the 17th level feature to say "When you have advantage" instead of having all the extra text.

Hey Thanks for the feedback! I never noticed but you're right, there aren't free actions in 5e. I was thinking of the actions you can do in tandem with moves and attacks, but they're not actually called free actions. I'll have to come up with new wording for that. Thanks!

I'll have to make things more clear about what I mean by using ranged attacks as though it were melee, this feature is specifically there to allow the use of ki abilities that normally only work on melee attacks (such as stunning strike or flurry of blows) to be performed with ranged weapon attacks, and not to be a replacement for the crossbow expert feat. To be clear it is not intended for the lvl 6 feature to cancel out close range disadvantage.
The faerie fire ability with disadvantage is to give it an edge over a spellcaster who could just do the same with a regular spell slot at lvl 1. At lvl 6 it'd feel pretty weak if the monster you hit made its save just like that. It costs a good chunk of ki (at lvl 6 this means...See more

If that's their rules-lawyering, they're straight up wrong. That's in the book. Advantage and Disadvantage do cancel each other out.

Yeah, definitely. I made that change in the most recent update too. Helps with clarity as well I think.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
